Podcast 2: Elizabeth Cronin, NY State Victim Services

In my first interview in the series of Leading through uncertainty, I interviewed Elizabeth Cronin who is the Director of the New York State Victim Services department. Her team provide support to victims of crime in the New York state area, covering anything from a domestic violence situation to mass shootings or significant events like 9/11. They truly work at the sharp end and experience the fall out of trauma on a daily basis. As an ex-lawyer, Elizabeth combines her brilliant mind with her outstanding emotional intelligence to ensure that she and her team continually innovate to provide the services, whilst recognising the challenges her team all face with the substantial uncertainty they experience. I think leaders at all levels of organisations can learn a lot from listening to her.
